Public Toilets: Do you consider they are essential to the village?

Because of the cost of adopting the toilets, are you willing for the annual precept to be increased to help the cost of maintaining them?

Play Area: Is the Play Area of value to the village?

Would anyone be willing to form a Playground Committee to help gain funding for play area improvements and to carry out weekly checks on the condition of the play area?

Lighting: The Parish Council has already resolved to take ownership and future maintenance of the footway lighting from 1st April 2018

Eden District Council has provisionally agreed to keep 15 street lights within the villages of Brough and Church Brough – a list is available for your scrutiny.

Are you willing for the annual precept to be increased to help the cost of maintaining footway lighting?

Jubilee Gardens: The Parish Council has already agreed to take ownership of the gardens from 1st April 2017

It has been agreed with EDC that before transfer:

A non-slip path will be laid – already completed
Existing footway lights will be upgraded to include LED bulbs
Trees/shrubs will be cut back/pruned to an acceptable level
Benches – one to be repaired, two new (both from recycled, low maintenance materials)
Bin to be moved outside perimeter of gardens (already done)
